Mrs. Carrie McKnight Gilmore of Geneva, AL passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017 in a Dothan Hospital, at the age of 81.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Hacoda Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Cox and Bro. Chris Burghoff officiating.

Mrs. Gilmore was born on June 15, 1936 to the late William and Amy Weeks McKnight. Mrs. Gilmore was a very kind person who loved everyone. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds and taking care of her animals. In her spare time she loved going to auctions.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Morris Gilmore; one brother, Carlton McKnight.

She is survived by one daughter, Christina Gilmore Jenkins (Richard) of Geneva, AL; sister-in-law, Linda McKnight; and several nieces and nephews.
