Cecelia A. Williams, a resident of Ozark, died Friday, December 30, 2016 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was 78.


Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2017 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Sigler officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be on Friday, January 06, 2017 from 5:00 p.m – 8:00 p.m. at  First United Methodist Church.


In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the “Cecelia A. Williams Celebration of Music Memorial Fund”, c/o First United Methodist Church, 167 E. Broad Street, Ozark, AL 36360.


Mrs. Williams was born November 15, 1938 in Schoentown, Pennsylvania and lived the early years of her life there. She has been a resident of Ozark since 1979. Mrs. Williams was a member of First United Methodist Church where she served as organist for many years.


Mrs. Williams is predeceased by her husband, David S. Williams, her brother, John Fabian and her sister, Gloria Tokarick.


She is survived by two sons, David J. Williams (Michelle) of Troy, Michigan and Darrel J. Williams of Mobile, Alabama; two grandsons, Brandon D. Williams and Colin J. Williams, both of Troy, Michigan.
