Cecelia Watson Carroll of Samson passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at a Dothan Hospital. She was 74 years old.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Duane Hicks officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 4:00 p.m. and will continue until service time. Flowers will be accepted.

Cecelia was born on October 29, 1944 to the late Richard and Leola Ritter Watson. Cecelia enjoyed going to the beach, arranging flowers and working with the elderly as a caregiver. She was a member of the Samson Garden Club. She was also a founding member of Abundant Life Church in Samson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Donald Carroll; two nephews, Jonathan Lee Watson, and Duston Aaron Watson.

She is survived by two daughters, Kelley Lolley (Gary), and Kim White (Kevin) all of Enterprise; one son,  Richard Clay Carroll (Jeannie) of Samson; five grandchildren, Britney Lolley Cooper (Corey), Garrett Lolley, Sarah White, Peter White, and Taylor Carroll; one sister, Celinda Godwin (Allan), and one brother Webb Watson (Carolyn) all of Samson.
