Cecil Clarence Anderson of Westville, FL passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at home with his wife by his side. He was 73 years old.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Poplar Head United Methodist Church, 1129 Hwy 163, Westville, FL 32464, with Rev. Jim Mashburn officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Mr. Anderson was born in Washington County, FL on October 14, 1944 to the late Alexander Ducan and Rosie Bell Caraway Anderson. Mr. Anderson worked for over 50 years building custom church furniture. After retirement, he enjoyed growing blueberries, citrus, and pecan trees, along with various other plants.  

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Mattie Bell Simmons; and five brothers, J.C., Shorty, Bobby, Jim, and William Anderson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Connie Anderson of Westville, FL; four children, Melissa Rich (David) of Winter Garden, FL, John Anderson (Norma) of Chipley, FL, Julie Miranda (Cesar) of Apopka, FL, Celia Anderson (Stephen) of Atlanta, GA; four step-children, Shayne Castle (Kim) of Ocoee, FL, Kelly Lloyd (Jason) of Apopka, FL, Jason Castle of Ft. Stewart, GA, and Bryan Castle (Ashley) of Apopka, FL; 11 grandchildren, Chuck and Josh Rich, Madison Roe, Alexandria Anderson, Jacob, Chloe, and Kendall Lloyd, Bayleigh and Chase Castle, Kylee and Lilee Castle; two great-grandchildren, Noah and Amelia Rich; one brother, Horace Anderson (Marguerite) of Hinson Cross Roads, FL.
