Charles Farrell “Pops” Lolley passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday May 23rd 2017 after a courageous fight against cancer. Born on December 31st 1931, outside Enterprise, Alabama, Pops created a life of love and joy for his family and leaves behind a legacy that will be carried on by those who loved him most.

The family will be receiving friends from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Thursday prior to services.  Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice, 2740 Headland Avenue, Dothan, AL. 36303 or to Southside Baptist Church, 423 East Cottonwood Road, Dothan, AL. 36301.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Southside Baptist Church in Dothan, AL with Reverend Stacey Stafford and Dr. Jerry Grandstaff officiating.    Burial will follow services at the Enterprise City Cemetery, North Main Street, Enterprise, AL with Kendall Glover directing.

Throughout his life, he left an impact on many people and was always there for anyone who needed help. Pops loved woodworking and his artistry is displayed in birdhouses and swings decorating lawns around the Wiregrass. He loved attending Southside Baptist Church and listening to Christian music while driving around town. Pops will be missed but we find joy in knowing he is at peace and reunited with his family members who went before him including his first wife Mary Nell (Hartzog) Lolley, his son Randy Lolley, his mother Wilma (McKinney) Lolley, his father Paul Lolley, and his brother Terrel Lolley.

Survivors include his wife Betty Lolley, daughter Kathy (Lolley) Crocker, son in law David Crocker, granddaughter Laura Crocker, step daughter Kristie Whatley, step granddaughter Kara Whatley, brothers Jimmy (Margaret) Lolley and Gerald (Sybil) Lolley, and many nieces and nephews.

His family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the caring staff at Kindred Hospice for taking care of Farrell during his last months and to his church family for meeting every need over the last two years.

Glover Funeral Home of Dothan has been entrusted with the arrangements.  (334) 699-3888.  Please sign the guestbook on line at www.gloverfuneral.com.
