Cherry Lee Nicholson Baxley, of Enterprise, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at her residence.  She was 72.

 

Memorialization will be by cremation, and no services are scheduled at this time.

 

Cherry was born June 15, 1945, in Louisiana.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was a member of the Church of Christ.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Morgan Nicholson and Syble Elaine Atwood Sterns; sister, Sharon Page; and step-father, Johnny Sterns.

 

Survivors include her husband Daniel Paul Baxley; son, Mark Daniel Baxley (Sharon) of Ledyard, CT; daughter, Cheryl Diane Kretzler of Enterprise, AL; two grandchildren: Jonathan Farmer and Slade Baxley; two sisters-in-law: Pauline Martin and Juanita Faircloth; brother-in-law, David Baxley; numerous nieces and nephews.
