Chester Lee Traylor of Madrid, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017. He was 89.

Graveside services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Monday, October 9, 20217 with Reverend Doug Seale officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 3 P.M. Monday, October 9, 2017. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Madrid Senior Citizens Center.

Mr. Traylor was a longtime member of the Madrid Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Eunice English Traylor, parents Joseph Lee Traylor and Rosa Barnes Traylor and brother Verlon Traylor.

Survivors include children Ruby Traylor of Dothan; Linda Mancil (Henry) of Dothan; Billy Traylor (Margie) of Dothan; grandchildren Carla Barfield Sims (Allen), Rachelle Chanid, Leila Renee Chanid, Megan Barfield Elmore (Kerry), Adam Lee Traylor (Amber), Whitney Barfield Black (Jara), Sonny Lee Barfield, Victoria Brooke Traylor, great-grandchildren Victoria Brewster, Taylor Doherty, Jacob Elmore, Emily Sims, Cameron Dawkins, Maddie Whiddon, Matthew Whiddon, Christian Lee Traylor, Catherine Grace Traylor, Chase Maddox Traylor, and nephews Greg and Keith Traylor.
