Christine Laura Gilley

Christine Laura Gilley, age 89 of Dothan died Friday afternoon at her residence after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in the Family First Funeral Care Chapel of the Angels at Woodland, with Rev. Tommy White of Pathways Baptist Church officiating.   

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 p.m. till service time.

Christine was born in Tabor City, NC., daughter of the late Labon Carmicheal and Elizabeth Brigman Carmicheal.  She moved from Winter Garden, Florida to Dothan in 1974 and was a member of Pathways Baptist Church. Christine was preceded in death by her husband Noah Gilley, a granddaughter Victoria Caylor, five brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her daughter Sheila Caylor of Dothan, son Garry (Amy) Gilley of Wicksburg, a brother Buster Carmicheal of Georgia, four grandchildren Shawn Caylor, Larry Caylor, Victoria Gilley and Hunter Gilley, two great grandsons and two great-great granddaughters.
