Mr. Clayton Everette Richards, age 42, a resident of Ashford, died Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at his residence after an extended illness.

Glover Funeral Home is in charge of the cremation services and no memorial service will be held at this time.

Clayton was born December 2, 1974 in Houston County, AL, the son of William Amos and Nona Faye Richards.  He was a 1993 graduate of Ashford High School and attended Wallace College.  Clayton owned and operated at Ace Body Shop for over 20 years.  He attended Sprit Filled Community Church.

Clayton was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Terri Tharpe.

Survivors include:  his mother Nona Richards, one son Clayton Everette Richards, Jr., Pansey; one daughter Sierra Cheyenne Richards, Ozark; one brother Bill Richards (Tammy), Dothan; one sister Angie Turvin, Pansey; and many other loved ones.
