CW4 Retired Edward H. Miller, of Enterprise, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at home with his family by his side.  He was 77.

 

Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm, Saturday, January 20, 2018 at St. Columba Catholic Church in Dothan, Alabama with Father Gallagher officiating.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Kindred Hospice, 1200 Rucker Blvd., Enterprise, AL 36330.

 

Edward was born October 8, 1940, in Pennsylvania, to the late Edward Miller Sr. and Dorothy Schettle Miller.  Following his retirement from the Army after 23 years of service, which included two tours in Vietnam, he served 17 years in Civil Service.  He received multiple awards of valor, including The Order of St. Michael’s Medal.

 

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Carol Godaire Miller of Enterprise; children: Donna Miller (David Dempsher) of St. Louis, MO, Cathy Stolworthy (Robert) of Louisville, KY, Daniel Miller (Joyce) of Dothan, AL, Edward P. Miller (Laura) of St. Louis, MO, and David Miller of St. Louis, MO; eleven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
