Daisy L. Wallace went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 12, 2018.  She was 92.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Goodman Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Williams and Dr. John Granger officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5 – 7 p.m.

 

Mrs. Wallace was born November 1, 1925, in Coffee County.  She was a member of Goodman Baptist Church for many years.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curt Wallace; father, Charlie Adkison; mother, Ella Mae Floyd Adkison; seven brothers; one sister; and one grandchild.

 

Survivors include four children: Joyce Sanders (Abner) of Elba, Peggy Rogers (William) of New Brockton, Doug Wallace (Ann) of Elba, and Diane Holloway (Marion) of Elba; sister, Dorothy Wood (Randall) of Goodman; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
