David N. Williams of Enterprise passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019.  He was 79.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2019, at Pleasant Shade Baptist Church in Enterprise with Pastor E. Steven Richardson officiating.  Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church Friday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until the time of service.

David was born March 9, 1939 in South Bend, IN to the late Nathaniel and Lillie Mae Williams.  He was a member of the Larry Walters Sunday School Class at Hillcrest Baptist Church, an avid Notre Dame Football fan and served on the Deacon Board at Pleasant Shade Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Delores Williams of Enterprise, AL; daughters:  Daphne Winston of Clearwater, FL and Davida Johnson (Sam) of Gary, IN; son, Richard Adams (Regena) of Midland City, AL; sisters:  Barbara Jean West and Reona Thomas both of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren:  Imari Lee, Peri Lee, Alana Winston, Ariel Winston, Angel Standifer and Semaj Wilkins; three great-grandchildren:  Mahayla, Cordan and Noah; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
