           David Trevor Haywood, a resident of Kinsey, Alabama, died Saturday, April 8, 2017, in Columbus, Georgia. He was 42.

            Funeral services will be held at 2;00 P.M. Tuesday, April 11, 2017, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Joey Hudspeth officiating and a eulogy to be given by Matt Taylor. Burial will follow in the Abbeville Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Monday at the mortuary.

            Trevor Haywood was born in Ft. Gaines, Georgia and lived most of his lifetime in Abbeville and Kinsey.

            Surviving relatives include his mother and step-father, Sammi Singletary McBride and Legary McBride, Abbeville; his father and step-mother, Doye Haywood and Karen Haywood, Kinsey; two sisters, Dawn Haywood Osterberger (Chris), Bethlehem, GA; and Megan Haywood, Panama City, FL; three brothers, Garrett Haywood, Midland City; Sgt. (U.S. Army) Orey Haywood, Iraq; and Colin Haywood (Chelsea), Montgomery; three step-brothers, Andrew McBride (Jennifer), Hoover, AL; Chris McBride (Brandi), Hiram, GA; and Patrick McBride (Carrie), Dothan; a nephew, Jonathan Cole Walters, Bethlehem, GA; and other nieces and nephews; a special aunt, Ann Mann, Garland, TX., special cousin and caretaker, Kay Kelly, Columbus, GA; and two uncles.

            Serving as active pallbearers will be Matt Taylor, Jeff Livingston, Matthew Strickland, Chris Blalock, Adrian Sanchez and Tom Hawthorne.
