OZARK….Mrs. Deborah Moorer Beasley, a resident of Ozark, Al., formerly of Fort Deposit, AL., passed away early Tuesday morning, February 20, 2018, at Mobile Infirmary in Mobile, Al. She was 63.

Funeral services will be held 2PM Friday, February 23, 2018 in the Earl Bankston Memorial Chapel of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home in Ozark with Rev. Kyle Gatlin of Covenant United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home Directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to services.

Mrs. Beasley was the daughter of the late John Arthur Moorer and Myrtle Elma (Seale) Moorer formerly of Fort Deposit, AL. Before moving to Ozark in 2006, Deborah was retired office manager of Ellis Oil Company and Cross Printing. She enjoyed playing bingo, shopping for collectables, reading and spending time with her family. She loved children and was an avid Auburn fan. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Ozark, AL.

Surviving family include her husband, James H. Beasley, one daughter, Tonya M. Pruitt, one granddaughter, Sara Elizabeth Stansell, brothers, James D. Moorer (Sarah) and Douglas R. Moorer (Martha) and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Serving as pallbearers are Matthew Moorer, Jerry Golden, Andrew Sessions, John Stephens, Thalon Hobbs and Kevin Steele.
