Dessiree Donaldson Weeks of Geneva, AL passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. She was 90 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 18, 2018 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Wendell Ard officiating. Burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Marvin Chapel Assembly of God Church Cemetery Fund, 810 County Rd 682, Coffee Springs, AL 36318.

Mrs. Weeks was born in Coffee County, AL on June 20, 1927 to the late Loskey “Dick” and Lucille Bowdoin Donaldson. She worked many years at Prices Diner and was known for her wonderful cooking. Mrs. Weeks was a kind and gentle person who always had a smile on her face. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister who will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Marion Weeks; three brothers, Robert, Hubert, and Lamar Donaldson.

She is survived by two sons, Lonnie Raybon Weeks (Sandra) of DeFuniak Springs, FL, and Frankie Ray Weeks of Geneva; three grandchildren, Hutch Weeks, Kelly Weeks, and Amy Weeks; five great grandchildren; one sister, Louise Spikes; three brothers, Cecil, Max, and Burnice Donaldson; and several nieces and nephews.
