DOTHAN. . .Don Edward Sellers, a resident of Dothan, died early Tuesday morning, February 21, 2017, at his home. He was 55.

            Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 24, 2017, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Dan Sheppard and Reverend Ron Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory, between Headland & Dothan. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the mortuary in Headland.

            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Baptist Church, c/o Luvone Jones, 611 Mitchell Street, Headland, AL 36345.

            Don Sellers was born in Abbeville, Alabama and was reared in Newnan, Georgia. He lived most of his adult lifetime in Dothan. Don was preceded in death by his father,  James Edward Sellers.

            Surviving relatives include a daughter, Bridget Sellers, Tuscaloosa; a son, Eddie Sellers, Dothan; his mother and step-father, Betty Sellers Franklin and Jack Franklin, Dothan; three sisters, Jane McManus (Don), Florence, SC; Susan Arnall (Raleigh), Griffin, GA; and Deborah Beaty (Colby), Dothan; two brothers, Tommy Sellers (Judy), and Ronnie Sellers (Lisa), all of Newnan, GA; two grandchildren, Eden Sellers and Wyatt Bowman; the Mother of his children, Gina Sellers, Ashford; several nieces and nephews.

            Serving as active pallbearers will be Corey Sellers, Tyler Sellers, Billy Jones, Colby Leddon, Raleigh Arnall and Kegan Arnall.
