Mr. Donald Raif Griswold of Enterprise passed away on Friday, July 8, 2016 at his home.  He was 78.

 

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2016 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Rev. Calvin Faircloth and Rev. Brad Sasser officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday beginning at 1:30 and continuing until service time.

 

Donald was born April 18, 1938 in Coffee County.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Raif and Inez Daughtry Griswold; two wives, Sarah Taylor Griswold and Rebecca Castleman Griswold; and two brothers, James and Jerry Griswold.

 

Survivors include his daughter, Donna Michelle Hakel (Brad) of Enterprise; three sisters: Margean Kelley of Troy, Linda Reeves of Brundidge, and Audrey Simmons of New Brockton; four grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Justin, Kyle, and Emma Riley Hakel.
