Donna Jean Sconyers

 

Donna Sconyers, age 62 of Dothan died Wednesday morning June 20, 2018 at her residence after an extended illness under the care of Kindred Hospice.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday June 22, 2018 in the Family First Funeral Care Chapel of the Angels with Dave Lindey officiating.  The family will receive friends, Friday from 6:00 P.M. until service time in the chapel.  The family requests casual attire.

Donna was born January 24, 1956, a daughter of the late Ernest Dean Branch and Audrey Condrey Tew.

She was a graduate of Dothan High School, and earned multiple computer and avionics degrees from Wallace College and Troy University.

Donna worked for 29 years at Flight Safety and later at CAE for 1 ½ years, both located at the Dothan Regional Airport.

Donna was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. where she attended the Lindy Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by one son, Mathew Sconyers, Jacksonville, FL,  two brothers, Edward McNeal (Audrey) Maumelle, AR and Bruce McNeal (Angela), Dothan, AL: one sister, Brenda Morrison (Mickey), Martinsburg, WV and many Cousins, nephews, nieces and great nephews and great nieces and especially loving and kind neighbors and coworkers.

 

The family would like to thank Kindred Hospice for the care and love they gave to Donna during this time and the special love shown by family, friends, and coworkers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice, Calvary Baptist Church Fund or to your favorite charity.

Family will be at the home of Donna’s brother, Bruce McNeal, 601 Royal Parkway, Dothan, AL, until the time of the Family First Funeral Home visitation.
