Earl Lee Love, Sr., of Enterprise, known to his family and friends as “Foul Ball” and “Baby”, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at his residence.  He was 68.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 Sunday, December 16, 2018 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Dr. John Granger officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday beginning at 1:00 and continuing until service time.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Enterprise YMCA, 904 AL-27, Enterprise, AL 36330 in memory of Earl.

 

Earl was born October 1, 1950.  He was employed with the Mercer Livestock Family for more than 35 years and was an avid lover of Auburn Football and NASCAR.  He was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, husband, and a friend to all.

 

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Green Lafayette Love and Myrtle May Love; brother, Richard “Dickie” Love, and nephew, Tracy Floyd.

 

Survivors include his wife, Eva McGrath Love of Enterprise; five children: Leigh Love Childers (Jason), Earl L. Love, Jr. (Errica), Leah “Blake” Love, Nickolas E. “Nick” Love, and Chance Love, all of Enterprise; his stepchildren, Tara McGrath and Tiffany McGrath both of Enterprise; brother, Ernest “Boots” Love (Karen) of Enterprise; sister, Delores “Dee” Price of Dothan; three grandchildren: Collin Childers, Mason Childers, and Cylas McGrath; nieces and nephews: Tammy Floyd Beasley of Ashford, Dr. Michael Love of Destin, FL and Mandy Love of Birmingham; special friends: Teresa “T” and Farrial Mercer, Morris and Vivian “Cuzz” Mercer Moore, and all of their families.
