Eddie Dwayne Tidwell, of Enterprise, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018 as a result of a house fire.  He was 51.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 26, 2018 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Rev. John McCrummen officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday beginning at 1:00 and continuing until service time.

 

Eddie was born February 19, 1967, in Enterprise.  He loved fishing and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

 

His father, Grover Travis Tidwell, preceded him in death.

 

Survivors include his mother, Annette Sims of Enterprise; sister, Rose Maddox (Phil) of Eufaula; two brothers: Larry Tidwell (Jean Yates) of Enterprise and Danny Tidwell (Brenda) of New Brockton; seven nieces and nephews: April and Brandon Smith, Donnie and Courtney Maddox, Ashley and Ken Huffman, and Britney Tidwell; three great-nephews.
