Mr. Edward Earl “Bo” Jacobs of Samson, AL, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017. He was 73 years old.

Memorial services will be held at a later date, at the family home.

Edward was born August 29, 1944 in Hartford, AL to the late Louie Harm and Ettie Mae Hendrix Jacobs. Mr. Jacobs worked with Miller Roofing Company for 37 years. He proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. Mr. Jacobs loved Auburn Tiger Football, Atlanta Braves Baseball, and fishing. He was a loving father and grandfather. 

 He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 36 years, Barbara Sue Ford Jacobs; three children, Michael Jacobs, Stancil Earl “Buddy” Jacobs, and Becky Jacobs; and four sisters.

He is survived by two daughters, Jeanie Marie Jacobs and Patricia Sue Jacobs both of Samson; grandchildren, Johanna, Marissa, Kathleen, David, and Becky; great-grandchildren, Damian, and Rickey.
