Elizabeth Ann “Betsy” Robinson of Geneva passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018. She was 56 years old.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 15, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Geneva with Father Doug Smiley officiating. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Geneva with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.

The family request that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made to the Geneva County ARC, P.O. Box 234, Geneva, AL 36340.

Betsy was born on March 29, 1961 in Buffalo, NY. Betsy enjoyed going to the beach and swimming in her pool. She attended Merle Wallace Purvis Center in Geneva beginning in 1980. She loved being with her family, laughing, smiling, and always teasing someone with her mischievous eyes.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Barnes Robinson; one brother and sister-in-law, Michael Paul Robinson (Linda).

She is survived by her loving and devoted father, Burton P. Robinson, Jr. of Geneva; sisters and brother, Susan Robinson Meidenbauer,  John Burton Robinson (Holly), and Mary Alice Robinson all of Geneva; and many loving nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank Dr. John F. Simmons as well as Wiregrass Nursing Home for their devoted love and care of Betsy throughout the years.
