Emily Nell Burkett Kelley of New Brockton, AL passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan.  She was 76.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Brother Randy Hartley officiating.  Burial will follow in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday beginning at 10:00 and continuing until service time.

 

Ms. Kelley was born March 24, 1940 in Coffee County, AL to the late James Frank Burkett and Willie Myrl Goodson Burkett.  Ms. Kelley was a 1958 graduate of Elba High School.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, James A. Burkett and William B. Burkett.

 

Survivors include daughter, Kimberly Jan Kelley of New Brockton, AL; brother, John J. Burkett (Karen) of Harlingen, TX; father of her child, Jerry M. “Buster” Kelley of New Brockton, AL; sister-in-law, Jane Burkett of New Brockton, AL; numerous nieces and nephews.
