Eugene Singletary, a resident of Dothan, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Flowers Hospital. He was 72.

We were blessed with an angel on earth for 72 years, and he is now in his rightful place in Heaven. We will lay him to rest on Saturday, April 28, 2018. We invite you to a celebration of life at First United Methodist Church, Dothan, AL. A visitation will be held at 2pm with the funeral immediately following in the sanctuary at 3pm. The family will be having a private graveside service afterward with Robert Byrd directing.

Coach Singletary is survived by his wife of 50 years, Allie Sue; his three sons Chris (Christine) Singletary of Cumming, GA, Cade Singletary of Bainbridge, GA, and Cory (Anna) Singletary of Dothan, AL; his daughter Priscilla Singletary of Columbus, GA; his four grandchildren, Hannah, Hunter, Alli and Charlie; and his brother, Larry (Nita) of Dothan, AL In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church; 553 Kirkland Rd; Slocomb, AL 36375.
