Mrs. Evelyn Terry Lane of Dothan passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018. She was 86.

Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Travis Free officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 P.M. Monday, June 18, 2018. Flowers will be accepted.

Evelyn was born in Bay County, FL. She was a longtime resident of Dothan and a longtime employee of The Petal Pusher in Ashford. She was a member of Rehobeth Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her father Block Terry, mother Mary Ammons Terry and brothers Oliver E. Terry and Jimmy K. Terry.

Survivors include husband James Lane of Dothan; daughter Sherry H. Conrad (Paul) of Panama City, FL; step-daughter Delilah Mae Lane of Sunland Marianna, FL; son Gary A. Strickland (Cindy) of Panama City, FL; sister Audrey T. Thomasson of Phoenix City, AL; sister-in-law Frances Terry of Panama City, FL; grandchildren Jason A. Strickland, Jesica S. Craighead (Josh), Amy Sumner (Dewey), Lyndsi Conrad, all of Panama City, FL; great-grandchildren Jasper Craighead, Daniel Sumner, James Sumner, all of Panama City, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Steven Atwell, Carl Williams, Wesley Pybus, Shane Atwell, David Dickey, and Alex Blankenship.
