Faye Kennington, of Enterprise, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Signature Healthcare of North Florida.  She was 79.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Fairview Baptist Church in Samson.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday beginning at 1:00 and continuing until service time.

 

Faye was born August 23, 1938, in Coffee County.  She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Kennington; her mother, Bonnie Nelson Kennington; and her brother, Billy Kennington.

 

Survivors include her partner, Ferrell Tindol of Enterprise; three sisters: Margie Arnette (Loyd) of Enterprise, Shirley Oliver (Lamar) of New Brockton, and Ann Lumpkin (Robbie) of Dadeville; brother, Donnie Kennington of Elba; numerous nieces and nephews.
