Faye Smith Millican, a resident of Dothan, passed away on July 5, 2016 at Flowers Hospital. She was 81.


Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday July 8, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kyle Gatlin officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service.


Mrs. Millican was born March 7, 1935 in Harlem, Georgia until she moved to Dothan at a young age, where she resided all of her life. She was employed with Williams Lincoln Mercury for several years as a bookkeeper and office manager until her retirement in 2003 with Medford Lincoln Mercury. She was an avid bridge player, loved going to the beach and taking care of her plants.


She is proceeded in death by her parents, Hoke and Mabel Smith; and her brother, Ronald W. Smith.


Survivors include her daughters, Gaye Hartley (James Sr.) Brannon and Terri Hartley Wise; her six grandchildren, James Brannon, Jr., Lisa Beerman, Matthew Brannon, Marc Brannon, Robby Wise, and Caleb Wise; 11 great-grandchildren; and a niece, Christa Kelly.
