Mrs. Florence S. Adams of Bonifay, FL passed away Friday, February 2, 2018. She was 73.

 Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2018 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Donald Gainey and Rev. Herman Sellers officiating. Burial will follow in the East Pittman Baptist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 4 until 6 p.m.

 Mrs. Adams was born June 19, 1944 in Holmes County, FL to the late George and Bessie Lee Scott Sowell.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid pet lover, especially her dogs. Mrs. Adams was a member of the East Pittman Baptist Church.

  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Janice Howell.

 Survivors include her husband of 55 years, James E. Adams of Bonifay, FL, 2 sons; James Wesley Adams (Nina D.) and Randall S. Adams (Brenda) both of Bonifay, FL, 2 daughters; Cindy A. Wilson (Mark), Bonifay, FL and Annah Stewart (Brett ), Frisco, TX,

one brother; Joe Sowell (Susan) and one sister; Dorothy Mixon (Rex) both of Bonifay, FL, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends
