Foy Clifford Watson, Jr., age 74, of Ozark passed away on Wednesday, May 03, 2017 at his residence.

Born June 27, 1942 in Houston County to the late Foy Clifford Watson, Sr., Foy was an active member 38 years of Westview Heights UMC, he worked for G.T.E. for 35 years, he worked in civil service at Fort Rucker for 10 years, Army National Guard for 27 years, enjoyed coaching and umpiring on all levels including high school and college. He enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

                               

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Doris Ann Watson of Ozark; daughter, Carollynn Watson of Ozark; sons, Cliff Watson (Kathy) of Anniston, Al, and Keith Watson (Jan) of Skipperville, AL; grandchildren, Ben Watson, Spencer Watson, Ashley Whitman, Casey Watson, Dustin Whitman, and Courtney Watson; great-grandchildren, Caroline Watson, Charli Claire Watson, Ava Kate Kelley, and Mollie Kelley.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, May 5, 2017 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Phil Craddock and Reverend Sam Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Ward Wilson Funeral Home from 1 to 2 PM, one hour prior to the service.

Flowers and donations will be accepted. Donations can be made to Community Hospice of Dale Medical Center, 126 Hospital Ave., Ozark, AL 36360.

Pallbearers will be Larry Joe Pittman, Leon Waller, Ben Watson, Spencer Watson, Otto Voellinger, and Johnny Oliver.
