Frances Pauline Elrod Yell, 91, of Dothan passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017.

A visitation will be held in Dothan in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel from 4-6 pm on Monday, June 12, 2017. A graveside service will be conducted at the burial site, Madison City Cemetery, Madison, AL on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Resource Center, 1314 Westgate Pkwy., Suite 2, Dothan, AL 36303.

Mrs. Yell is a native of Madison County, AL and was a lifelong member of Jordan Park Church of Christ in Huntsville, until her move to Dothan, where she was a member of the Honeysuckle Road Church of Christ until her death.

Mrs. Yell was preceded in death by her husband, Vernice W. “Piggie” Yell, by her step-parents, Martin and Luddie Robertson, and by her parents, Raymond and Lillian Elrod.

Survivors include her three daughters, Barbara McNabb, Perry, GA, Wanda (Lamar) Brown, Dothan, AL, and Joan (Roger) Ledbetter, Henderson, GA; her son, Keith Yell, Madison, AL; her nine grandchildren; her nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
