Gary Franklin Waters, age 60, of Clayhatchee, AL, passed away, Sunday, April 1, 2018 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Tony Deese officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to the services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Dale County Humane Society or Providence Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Richard M. Waters, brother, John Richard Waters and sister, Elaine (Duggie) Keith.

Survivors include his mother, Bobbie J. Spriggs; sister, Dede Maye (Ernie), both of Clayhatchee; nieces, Cassandra McGraw (Jason) and their children, Jackson and Jillian, St. Mary’s, GA; Jamie Altgilbers (Aaron) and their children, Adelei, Jameson and David, Hinesville, GA; also his beloved cats, BJ, Bino and Little Bit.
