Geneva Ryan Jones, 95, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away at home surrounded by her children on Thursday, January 4, 2018 after an extended illness.  Gen was born in Prentiss County, Mississippi on September 10, 1922 to JP and Lula Belle Britnell Ryan.  She resided in Enterprise, Alabama for many years and moved back to Pensacola in 2002.  She was a member of Bellview Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters and brother, her husband, Wilmer E. Jones; her grandson, Chip Hall and her son-in-law, Joe Hodge.

Gen is survived by her three children: Margie (Mickey) Hodge, Tom Jones and Sue (Ronny) Enfinger, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Per Gen’s request, graveside services will be held at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM with the Pastor Steve Bruce officiating.

A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Emerald Coast Hospice who took excellent care of her during her extended illness and who also provided unending support for her family and a special thank you to her many caring friends.
