Geneva Sapp Hinckle of Daleville passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017.  She was 93.  The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.  In keeping with Mrs. Hinckle’s wishes, her ashes will be scattered into the Pacific Ocean where they will join those of her late beloved husband, Charles.

Mrs. Hinckle was born in Jasper, FL on August 18, 1923, to the late Harvey and Zila Sapp.  Prior to her retirement, she worked in retail sales for more than fifty years.  She had a passion for golfing.  Mrs. Hinckle lived near the golf course and played three days per week until she reached her older age.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hinckle; son, Frankie Hinckle; and seven of her siblings.

She is survived by her son, James Robert “J.R.” Hinckle of Chancellor; grandson, Robert Charles Hinckle (Jamie) of Tampa, FL; granddaughter, Suzanne Chandler of Tacoma, WA; four great-grandchildren; three of her siblings; and numerous nieces, nephews, and golfing friends.
