Gladys Pauline “Polly” Tanner, 96, died Monday, April 30, 2018 at her Enterprise home.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2018 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Rev. Mike Medley and Rev. Chris Adams officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until service time.

 

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Kindred Hospice, 1200 Rucker Boulevard, Enterprise, AL 36330.

 

Polly was born October 20, 1921, in New Brockton.  Her husband, Cecil Tanner, preceded her in death.

 

Survivors include four sons and three daughters-in-law: Terrell and Phyllis Tanner of New Brockton, Merrell and Sally Tanner of Enterprise, Donnie Tanner of Enterprise, and Johnny and Rita Tanner of New Brockton; six grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
