Glenda Louise Jerkins, 74, of New Brockton, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018.

 

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2018 at Wooten Chapel Assembly of God with Reverend Mike Medley officiating.  Burial will follow in McGee Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise.

 

Glenda was born June 15, 1944, in Coffee County, Alabama.  She was a member of Wooten Chapel Assembly of God.  She was a bus driver with the Coffee County school system for 27 years and worked in the lunchroom for 2 years. 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arrie and Lillie Driggers; husband, Adrean Jerkins; son, Andy Jerkins; granddaughter, Madison Jerkins; brothers:  Johnny, Jimmy, and Greg Driggers; sisters:  Martha Ann Senn, Doris Hutchinson, Edna Bryant and Tammie Varner.

 

Survivors include her son, Jackie Jerkins of Samson; sister, Kay Curran of New Brockton; daughter-in-law, Jeannie Jerkins Wambles; grandchildren:  Michael Jerkins (Angie), Dawn Ezell (Chase), Morgan Jerkins and Kylee Jerkins; great-grandchildren:  Mckenlie Jerkins, Madilynn Jerkins, Michael Jerkins, Jr., and Alivia Ann Ezell; special niece, Leanna Winters; numerous nieces and nephews; special caregiver, Susan Frazier.
