Gordon Russell “Chick” Tower of Geneva, AL passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Wiregrass Medical Center. He was 88 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Mt. Zion Methodist Church in Graceville, FL. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Tower was born on December 8, 1929 in North Sutton, NH. Mr. Tower worked for the US Postal Service for 30 years. He proudly served his country in the Korean War. In his spare time he enjoyed baking cakes. He was known as a hard worker and could fix anything that needed repair. He was a devoted husband and father.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Richard Tower; and one sister, Helen Palmer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Lizzie Tower of Geneva; one daughter, Lisa Sansom and son-in-law, Mikey Sansom of Samson; one sister, Marie West; and several nieces and nephews.
