GUSTA  DAVIS  MORGAN

ABBEVILLE. . .Gusta Davis Morgan, a resident of Abbeville, died Friday, February 23, 2018, in the Henry County Health & Rehabilitation Facility in Abbeville. She was 98.

            Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 26, 2018, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Judy Dyson officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory, between Headland & Dothan. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 P.M Monday at the mortuary.

            Mrs. Morgan was born in Cullman, Alabama, daughter of the late Shaw Davis and Addie Knopp Davis. She lived most of her lifetime in the Dothan area before moving to Abbeville in 2012. Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Morgan, two sons, Jerry Morgan and Tony Morgan, two daughters, Betty German and Caroline Hobbs, and four grandchildren, Gary German, Joey Brannon, Danny Brannon and Toni Brannon and several sisters and brothers.

            Surviving relatives include a daughter, Shirley Ford, Sasser, GA; a son, Gary Morgan (Twyla), Abbeville; a son-in-law, Roy German, Newton; a brother, David Davis (Ora), Randolph, AL; five grandchildren, Shaun Morgan (Teresa), Charles German (Donna), Teresa Brannon, Sheila Brannon and Sara Hall (Charles); seven great-grandchildren.
