HAROLD  LLOYD  SNEAD

HALEBURG…Harold Lloyd Snead, a former resident of Haleburg, died Thursday morning, December 6, 2018, in Extendicare Health & Rehabilitation Center, He was 86.

            Mr. Snead was born and reared in Barbour County, near Clayton, son of the late John Lloyd Snead and Eula Mae Hagler Snead. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was a Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Snead retired from the United States Postal Service in Dothan as a City Letter Carrier. He lived in Dothan and Tavares, Florida and before moving to Haleburg in 2000. He attended the Haleburg Baptist Church and was of the Presbyterian faith. Mr. Snead was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Blount, and a sister, Frances Johnson.

            Surviving relatives include his son, Harry A. Snead, New Philadelphia, OH; a son-in-law, Bill Blount, Dothan; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
