COLUMBIA. . .Helen Dawn Crosby, a resident of Columbia, died Saturday afternoon, November 12, 2016, in a Dothan hospital. She was 53.

            No memorial or funeral services are planned at this time.

            Ms. Crosby was born in Blakely, Georgia and was reared in Columbia, daughter of the late Robert Laslie Crosby, Sr. and Helen Sanders Crosby. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Laslie Crosby, Jr.

            Surviving relatives include a daughter, Priscilla Stewart (Anthony), Webb, AL; and a son, Bobby Stewart (Leah), Columbia; a special friend and companion, Gary Wayne (Conrad) Helms, Columbia; five grandchildren, Patiance Saunders, Julius Saunders, Jaydon Saunders, Baylee Stewart and Kamoryn Stewart.
