Henry Jack Pinkerton of Samson, AL passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018. He was 74 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2018 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Jimmy Eddins officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Mr. Pinkerton was born on January 13, 1944 to the late Henry Hurtis and Mattie Odell Jackson Pinkerton. Henry worked and retired after a number of years with Bryson Implement/Sun South as a painter. He enjoyed playing his guitar, singing, and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Pridgen.

He is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Kylena Pinkerton of Samson; three grandchildren, Miyah Cade, Keenan Cade, and Zikenya Ruttlen all of Samson; one great-grandson, Keenan “KJ” Cade, Jr. of Samson; one sister, Katie Morgan Weeks of Dothan; nieces and nephews, Marie Gibson of Daleville, Teresa Baisden (Rob) of Gainesville, GA, Walter Egnew (Shane Ruff) of Kittery, ME, Sharon Grimes (Charles) of Ozark, Allan Maddox (Brandy) of Geneva, and Lisa Royals (Dan) of Geneva; several great nieces and nephews; special cousin and her husband, Diann and Doug of Samson.

The family would like to thank the staff of Kindred Hospice of Enterprise for the wonderful care they provided.
