Hilda Mae Grantham, a resident of Dale County peacefully went to meet her Savior on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Flowers Hospital. She was 86.

Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Piney Grove Assembly of God Church with Rev. Eric Norris, Rev. Ray Layton, and Rev. R. E. Dean officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 6-8 pm.

Mrs. Grantham was born on August 7, 1930 to the late Dewey and Ethel Dean in Dale County where she resided all of her life. She touched a lot of lives by helping to raise children of family and friends. Mrs. Grantham had a heart of gold and will truly be missed. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Grantham.

Survivors include her two sons and two daughters, Jimmy (Rita) Grantham, Dennis (RoseAnn) Grantham, Judy (Royce) Morrow, and Barbara (Cletus) Faulk; her four sisters, Monette Hayes, Omega Ward, Shirley Marshall, and Betty King. She was blessed with seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
