Mr. Hubert F. Adams Sr., age 81, of Cowarts, Al. passed away peacefully at his home Monday May 2, 2016.

               

He was born March 15, 1935 to Jesse Clevland Adams “J.C.” and Rosie Lee Adams, he was a lifelong member of the Houston County community. Mr. Adams was a great provider for his family and loved his children and grandchildren very much. He was also a sports fan and enjoyed watching college football and baseball.

 

In addition to his parents Mr. Adams is preceded in death by his wife JoNeal Adams, three brothers, J.L. Adams, Herbert Adams, Leroy Adams, and sisters Audrey Adams Brigden, Dorothy Adams Boyette Goodwin and Leana Adams Meadows Dawson.

 

Survivors include his daughters, Crystal H. Adams Arnold (Jeff Arnold) of Cowarts Al.,Elizabeth Redmon of Cottonwood, Al. son, Hubert F. Adams Jr. “Bo” (Sue Adams) of Jesup, Ga., sisters, Mattie Lee Adams Folds of Cottonwood, Al., Lelia P. Adams Pearson McWilliams of Cottonwood, Al., grandchildren, Austin Arnold (Cara Arnold), Madison Arnold, Emily Adams, and Everett Adams, Great-grandchild, Eli Arnold, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Also special friends Teet and Stacie Keating.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Earl Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Clayton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the funeral home.

 

The family will be accepting flowers.
