Jack L. Hanson, age 81, of Enterprise, AL passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Mike Profitt officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.

Jack was in the parts business for 40 years, owned and operated Hanson’s grocery for 20 years and worked his dream job as an Enterprise City School Bus driver for 18 years.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Victoria Hanson and four sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Hanson; sons, Terry Hanson (Judy); Greg Hanson (Janet Matthews); Buck Hanson (Missy); Drake Hanson (Amy) all of Enterprise, AL; sisters, Jane Dennis (Sammy) Enterprise, AL; Matilda Cook (Bob) Alexandria, TN; Doris Hudson, Enterprise, AL; brother, Troy (Jr.) Hanson, Enterprise, AL; grandchildren, Danielle (Tim) Harloff; April (Mike) Stack; Katherine Martin; Brock (Kristin) Hanson; Brook (Johnny) Harmsen, all of Enterprise, AL; Hope (Marty) Jackson, of GA; Jackson Hanson; Mattie Hanson; Will Hanson; Anna Lynn Hanson, all of Enterprise, AL; 9 great-grandchildren.
