Jacquelyn “Jackie” Dyar Thompson, age 78, of Enterprise, AL, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at her home.

Graveside services will be held at Meadowlawn Cemetery at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 16, 2019 with Dr. Ben Bowden officiating. The family will receive friends at Searcy Funeral Home on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to:  Enterprise YMCA, PO Box 310700, Enterprise, AL  36331.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, James Guy and Eleanor Searcy Dyar and her brother, Jim Dyar.

Survivors include her husband, Harrell Thompson, Enterprise; four children, Rob Thompson, Jr., McDonough, GA; Terri Averett (Bruce) Enterprise; Jim Thompson (Beverly) Enterprise; Greg Thompson (Jodee) Enterprise; grandchildren, Ashley Averett; Hadley Thompson McAlister (Brandon); Eric Averett; Sid Thompson; Stacy Lin Thompson; John Robert Thompson; Dyar Thompson; Ele Thompson; great-granddaughter, Finley Kate McAlister; numerous cousins.
