James Doyce Cawley of Westville, FL passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. He was 73 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with the Rev. Charles Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in the Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive at the funeral home on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Cawley was born in Enterprise on March 15, 1944 to the late Freeman and Willie Lolley  Cawley. James was an avid stock-car racing enthusiast. He worked over 55 years in the commercial roofing industry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Austin Williams; two brothers, Orell and William L. Cawley.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Gayle Yarbrough Cawley of Westville, FL; six children, Darrell Cawley (Tamie) of Enterprise, Charlotte Wheeler of Enterprise, Jimmy Wayne Williams of Hartford, Cheryl Carter of Hartford, Tony Williams of Hartford, and Brain Williams of Geneva; two sisters, Pastine Pipkins of Jack, and Christine Sims of Enterprise; one brother, Danny Cawley of Enterprise; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
