James Samuel Murphy, age 74, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at his home.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Pentecostal Outreach Church with Rev. George Abbott officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Murphy was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Luther and Ada Virginia Murphy, a son, John E. Sollinger, granddaughter, Christina Marie Salinger, sister, Judith Ann Wilson, brothers, Clarence Murphy, Jr. and Henry Murphy.

Survivors include his wife, Josephine Frances Murphy, Enterprise, AL; daughters, Lynn Marie Hernandez, Enterprise, AL; Julie Sollinger, Cranbury, PA; son, James Samuel Murphy, II (Jeanine) Gulfport, MS; sister, Betty Lou Surdan; brother, Daniel Foster Murphy; 16 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
