James William Cardwell of Geneva passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 in Elba Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was 71.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday, April 11, 2016 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Geneva. Burial will follow in Fairview Church Cemetery under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral services at the funeral home.

 

James was born on March 15, 1946 in Elba to the late William Dennis and Mary Johnson Cardwell. James enjoyed cutting grass for his family and friends.

 

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Cardwell and David Cardwell.

 

Survivors include two sister, Lottie Tidwell of Geneva and Versie Brewer of Opp; several nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.
