DOTHAN. . .Janice Ellison, a resident of Dothan, died Friday, December 29, 2017, in a Dothan hospital. She was 78.

            Graveside services were held in the Piney Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Headland. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations was in charge of arrangements.

            Mrs. Ellison was a native of Los Angeles, California and moved to Dothan in 1987. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Fred Ellison, a son, Chris Lindgren, a sister, Ruth Ann Brent and her parents who raised her, Howard and Jennivee Palm.

            Surviving relatives include two son sons, Rev. Kurt James Lindgren (Kim), Bakersfield, CA and Kyle Hilliard, Long Beach, CA; a brother, David Palm, Sacramento, CA; three grandchildren, Madison Lindgren, Conner Lindgren and Allison Lindgren.
