J. D. Walker age 86, a resident of Elba, Alabama passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 at his home. Funeral services will be held at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 beginning at 10:00 AM with Rev. Allen Richards officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with Hayes Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be at Hayes Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Mr. Walker is survived by Daughter - Sharon Kaye Sasser (Robert Bolding), Elba, AL, Daughter - Brenda Faye (Alfred) Davis, Elba, AL, Son - J.D. (Anita) Walker, Jr., Elba, AL, Granddaughter - Ashley Bludsworth (Johnathan Boyett), Elba, AL, Granddaughter - Amanda Bolding (Preston Strain), Elba, AL, Grandson - Dustin (Christian) Bolding, Samson, AL, Grandson - Jeffrey Fuller, Elba, AL, Granddaughter - Tiffany (Zack) Bowden, Elba, AL, Step Granddaughter - Alicia Harrison, Samson, AL, and Special Friend - Lisa Walker of Elba, AL. He also leaves behind fourteen Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Nellie Wayne Walker.
