Jere Faye Wiggins, of Webb, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was 77.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Cedar Springs Baptist Church with Reverend William Irwin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Kendall Glover directing.  Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Cedar Springs Baptist Church, 3754 Cedar Springs Road, Ashford, AL, 36312.  The family will receive friends at Glover Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday, January 12, 2019.

Mrs. Wiggins was born August 14, 1941 in Ashford to the late J. D. and Flora Trimnel.  She was a 1959 graduate of Ashford High School.  She was employed with Funshine Playschool in Ashford from 1977-1988 and was a bus driver for Houston County for the past 25 years.   Jere Faye loved driving the bus, taking care of her kids and yardwork.  She was a member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church. 

She was predeceased by the following brothers and sisters:  Valeria Murphy, J. M. Trimnel, Foyfette Hicks, George Trimnel, Jane Childree and Don Trimnel.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years Waymon Wiggins, her daughter Amy Davis, and a sister, Ruth Webb, all of Webb. 

Pallbearers will be Austin Lucas, Tim Childree, Philip Kahle, Dwayne Sanders, Allen Stewart, Kimmel Evans. 

Honorary pallbearers will be the Ashford bus drivers and mechanics, Jarad Andrews, Bubba Odom, David Sewell, Diane Tolar, Faith Plosser and Pam Love.
